    WildBrain is an industry leader in the management and creation of preschool and children’s entertainment content on platforms such as YouTube, Amazon Video Direct and others. WildBrain’s branded YouTube network is one of the largest of its kind, featuring more than 110,000 videos for over 600 kids’ brands in up to 22 languages. The WildBrain network, which has over 50 million subscribers, generated over 129 billion minutes of watch time and 25 billion views from July 2017 through June 2018. Connecting kids’ content owners with advertisers in the Advertising Video-on-Demand (AVOD) space, the WildBrain network features popular third-party brands such as Fireman Sam, Curious George, Shopkins and Ben 10, as well as much of DHX Media’s world-renowned library of 13,000 half-hours of kids’ and family content, including Peanuts, Teletubbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Caillou, Inspector Gadget, Degrassi, Yo Gabba Gabba! and many others. WildBrain Studios also specializes in the creation of new, original content for its network, such as animated and live-action shorts; toy-play and stop-motion videos; preschool counting and alphabet videos; nursery rhymes and more.     The Social Brand Manager will be an integral member of the Social Media and wider marketing team. They will have exceptional knowledge and understanding of the social media landscape – including content formats that work across platforms, publishing algorithms, social media KPI’s and reporting, planning and execution of socially-led strategies and campaigns, and an understanding of the latest technologies impacting social media platforms.


    They should be passionate about social, and understand the complexities and nuances because they are an avid user themselves. We’re looking for a self-starter, someone who asks questions, someone who has the confidence to suggest better, more efficient ways of working and is solution and action driven.


    You will be a confident communicator and be able to build working relationships well. Your attention to detail will be second to none, and it will help to ensure flawless execution of social media brands for some of our most important channels and properties.


    • End-to-end management of multiple social media brands on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other channels with a focus on video content.
    • Ongoing content creation including content calendars, video content, image content, channel art work and more.
    • Community management of channels, responding to all comments, wall posts, inbox queries, creating comprehensive FAQ docs and running/fulfilling competitions.
    • Strategy – creating comprehensive social media strategies that you’ll present to the senior stakeholders with confidence.
    • Reporting – keeping KPI’s top of mind and ensuring we’re continually reaching our goals on a monthly basis.
    • Optimisation – not just doing what you know, but also reviewing monthly performance and building insights/learnings into strategies to boost performance.
    • Upskilling – reading social media blogs & attending webinars to continually learn more about the ever-changing social media landscape.
    • Presentations & Research – assisting the team with research & presentations for internal and external use.
    • Relationships – building relationships with the team at WildBrain from the paid media team, to the tech team, original content team and more.
    • Paid Media – Managing the paid media campaigns for the pages you manage and sharing paid media insights across the social media team.
    • Social Media Tools – have experience working with Facebook Business Manager, Creator Studio, Ad Manager, and social management / listening tools.


    You will be a great fit on our team if you have:

    Candidates should demonstrate experience with the following:

    • This person we’re on the hunt for will need to be a self-starter, and have 2/3 years of experience, (either from an agency or client-side background is preferable).
    • Previous practical production & video editing skills is a must. You’ll need to be able to edit up videos with ease and know your way around Premiere Pro.
    • Exceptional organisation skills and ability to keep to deadlines, the role requires fast paced, productive working.
    • Excellent communication skills – keeping the team continually updated on projects & outcomes via Slack, email and face to face.
    • Team work spirit – being collaborative and open with a can-do attitude.
    • Creative interests and good skills on Adobe suite of programs (Premiere Pro/Photoshop)
    • A willingness to learn, and continually improve social media knowledge through self-teaching and training.
    • Desirable: understanding or passion for of kids’ entertainment shows and cartoons.
